Surface Prep:
- Thoroughly wash and decontaminate the vehicle
- Remove wax, grease, and any polish residues
- Dry with lint-free microfiber towels
Installation Steps：
1. Positioning the Film
Spray a slip solution (water + a few drops of baby shampoo) on both the adhesive side of the film and the vehicle’s surface. Gently place the film and adjust its position as needed.
2. Tack and Anchor
Once aligned, use a tack solution (less slip) or dry areas to begin anchoring the film starting from the center outward. Use your squeegee in controlled motions to push out the solution and air bubbles.
3. Heat & Stretch (if needed)
Use a heat gun to slightly warm the film in curved or recessed areas. Be cautious not to overheat. TPU film becomes more flexible when warm, allowing better stretch and contour conformity.
4. Edge Sealing
Carefully tuck and seal edges with a firm squeegee or your fingers wrapped in a microfiber cloth. Avoid lifting and repositioning once edges are set.
5. Final Inspection
Check for silvering, bubbles, or lift zones. Rework only if necessary, and avoid over-manipulating the film. Let the vehicle sit in a stable environment for 24 hours to allow full adhesion.
